This high quality whale electric water pump, is mounted in-line in the fresh water pipe, as opposed to being lowered into the water tank (as for the submersible pumps). It allows for many options on the kind of water tank used, as you only need to pass the pipe into the tank.

The pump should be lower than the water tank or primed before use.
